Scran with Santa 2017 - Grottos with grub across the North East

Scran with Santa. Grottos with grub. Places to visit santa North East. Newcastle Sunderland, Durham Northumberland.

This week Fenwick's breakfasts and teas with Santa went on sale...and went off sale. They sold out in a day. Whilst you might have been too late for those the good news is that this year there are SHEDLOADS (over 30 in fact) of other dining with Santa options. Tonnes of them, still with availability, so if it's not Christmas to you without feasting with Father Christmas then read on and decide if you would like, breakfast, lunch, tea or ice cream with the big man.

As this post is so long I've tended to use details as shared on the promotions for the events. Please, please, please check all the details with the organiser before booking.

As You Like It Grotto in 2016.

As You Like It Grotto in 2016.

We went to As You Like It last Christmas Eve. The grotto was beautiful and the time with Santa was lovely, but we stayed for a meal and it was not the right place for the amount of toddlers we had in tow as they just wanted to run around and it was far too busy for that. I think it would be a great setting for a family meal if you kids are a bit older/better behaved than ours.  £10.95 per child but doesn’t include food. Food available from the regular menus. Weekends in December then daily 19th - 24th December 2016.
