#NewcastlewithKids - April

Newcastle with kids North East with Kids Sprog on the Tyne Instagram

Hello, this is the second in my series of nosing on instagram pics and where people have been taking their kids in the past few weeks. I run the #newcastlewithkids and #northeastwithkids hashtags - use these on your photos and I'll pop over and give you a like, comment and might even ask if it's okay to include your photos in an upcoming blog post. They are great hashtags to find a bit of inspiration about where to visit with kids too. Don't forget to use them over the Easter Weekend and whilst you are over there, don't be shy, give me a follow too.

On to the photos. Enjoy.

Role Play Centres

Since my last #newcastlewithkids post there have been two new role play centres open in the North East. I visited two of the four to choose from over the past few weeks.

We loved Lets Play Big in Washington, which opened in March.

I also went to Role Play in Hebburn for a big North East blogger meet up. Babyfoote took this fab photo whilst we were there.

Blogger Newcastle Family Life visited Tiny Town, the first role play centre in our region.

And last but certainly not least, instagrammer Family Fun Gateshead (who is a briliant follow if you are looking for ideas for what to do with toddlers) headed to Consett to visit Believe and Be which opened in the last six week.

Farms

With the weather warming up, and the baby animals being born, lots of us in the North East have headed to our many local farms.

My Boys Club who creates some fab blog posts on FREE events planned in the region, went to Hall Hill Farm for one of their lambing live events.

Newcastle Family Life went to Whitehouse Farm in Morpeth where they have all the usual animals, but also this brilliant park area, soft play and bouncy castles.

We visited Ouseburn farm where they have loads of little ducklings (and although its cheating as it wasn't an instagram photo, I'm including this post from my facebook page.) We also called into Jesmond Dene to look at the animals there a couple of times in the last few weeks.

Further afield

I love Seahouses, and I'm desperate to take my toddlers to see the seals there. I'm not the only fan, as North East Family Fun has spent a couple of days there recently, and spotted puffins as well as seals.

My Boys Club went to Lightwater Valley, and her kids got to play on this epic play park.

Family Fun Gateshead headed off to Beamish for the day where it looked like her kids had a ball.

Future Events

The hashtags are also used to detail future events and two upcoming events caught my eye. Big Fish Little Fish are hosting their third Newcastle event on 30 April and at the time of writing this they had less than 100 tickets left so get your tickets soon if you fancy going!

The Chalk team have got a great line up for the next few weeks with family raves and creative sessions. I love the look of the Boat Building in this pic, which is planned for 3 June and tickets available now if you fancy getting your boat making on.

I hope you're enjoying the #newcastlewithkids and #northeastwithkids roundups. There are even more pictures to be found using the hashtags on instagram, and please remember to tag us in any great places that you visit.
